Jamil Hasanli: â€œThe National Council postponed the rally scheduled for October 20â€

“Though on October14, we appealed to Baku Mayor’s Office on holding a rally on October 20, but the capital authorities claim that they have not been received the appeal. In this case, we have appealed to Baku Mayor’s Office again on holding a rally on October 27,” said Hasanli.

Hasanli also commented on a rally to be held tomorrow at Fountains Square: “The appeal has already been considered, if they didn’t allow holding a rally at Fountains Square, they could pass a decision in this regard. If Baku Mayor’s Office claims that it has not received the appeal, according to the procedural rules we decided to appeal again.”

Though the National Council announced that they appealed to Baku Mayor’s Office on holding a rally in the capital on October 20, but capital authorities didn’t officially receive this appeal.
