He said that in Moscow, foreign ministers of the Caspian littoral countries discussed the summit to be held in Astrakhan in autumn and deputy ministers are planning to meet in Iran in the coming months. “The Ministers can also meet, if the experts fail to complete discussions on the final document. Moscow meeting was very constructive. Five countries support progress in the process. Various issues were discussed openly. This meeting will open up great opportunities for determining the legal status of the Caspian Sea.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that significant progress was reached during Caspian Sea status talks.
