Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visits Khojaly monument - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

APA reports that Azerbaijani President laid a wreath at the monument and paid tribute to the victims of genocide.

Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, Head of Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva also laid flowers at the monument.

Azerbaijani government and state officials, MPs, Ministers, heads of committees and companies, heads of religious communities, as well as residents of Khojaly region attended the event.

They laid roses and carnations at the monument.
