APA reports that Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the complex.
It was noted that new complex will supply nearly 90,000 populations with the clean water in Nakhchivan city. The complex includes water treatment plant, administrative building and water reservoirs. The modern equipments in the lab will allow controlling water content.
Thereafter, Ilham Aliyev started the water treatment plant.
After familiarization with the copmplex, the head of state was interested in the works carried out within the restoration of potable water and sewerage systems of Nakhchivan city. He was informed that 218 km potable water and 200 km sewerage lines have been constructed in Nakhchivan so far. Nearly 19,000 houses have been supplied with the potable water.
President Ilham Aliyev also attended the opening of 88.8 km Nakhchivan-Shahbuz-Batabat highway. He was informed that the construction works have been completed within two years.
Ilham Aliyev also participated in the opening of Kangarli Region Central Hospital after reconstruction. The president was informed that capital reconstruction works were carried out in the hospital which will serve to over 30,000 populations. Different diseases will be examined and cured. The hospital will have medical staff consisting of 95 persons.
