Azerbaijani PA deputy head: Voter lists must be perfect

According to him, Azerbaijan is carrying out successful reforms in all areas and these reforms have created conditions for our country to enter a new stage of quality.

Naghdaliyev stressed equal conditions must be provided to all political parties during elections. “There are open and closed places for propaganda in each of the constituencies. Such places will soon be created in constituencies that lack them”.

Naghdaliyev added that huge work has been done in determining exact election lists. “Our voter lists are an example to many countries. Conditions are provided for every citizen to realize their election right. Efforts to specify voter lists have to continue every day and these lists must be perfect. I would like to put special emphasis on the installation of surveillance cameras in election centers. They show that elections taking place transparently”.

The PA deputy head also said that efforts are being made to create ideal conditions for constituency and precinct election commissions for transparency. “Current discussions are going even better compared to previous one. Three presidential elections as well as parliamentary and municipal elections are showing high level of professionalism. We should all that is need so that we could be successful. There are no minor issues in elections. Even if there are any, they have huge consequences. The country’s image can be affected,” he completed.
