Azerbaijanâ€™s ruling party comments on initial opinion of OSCE

The elections were fair and transparent. People voted for the candidate they want. Mr. Ilham Aliyev won a majority of the votes. I regard it as a fair choice. The people voted for the works done and further successes,” said Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmedov commenting on the initial opinion of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights regarding the elections conducted in Azerbaijan on October 9, APA reports quoting the website of the Party.

Ali Ahmedov said that unfortunately the OSCE ODIHR was unfair: “It seems that they preferred to asses the elections basing on their on views, not considering the people’s will in the elections. I regard the initial report of the OSCE ODIHR on the results of the presidential elections as non-objective and biased. This report is disrespect to the will of the Azerbaijani people.”
