Ali Hasanov: â€œSome trends have recently attempted to use Azerbaijani journalists against the state and national interestsâ€

Head of political and public affairs department at the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said it at the awarding ceremony of winners of the essay contest among journalists held by the State Fund for Support of Mass Media Development under Azerbaijani President regarding Novruz holiday.

Hasanov said that some trends have recently attempted to use Azerbaijani journalists against the state and national interests: “Unfortunately, some weak people have joined these trends and acted against their state and nation. However, the state has never thought about punishing these people. They have been punished by the people and history.”

He noted that favorable conditions have been created for journalists in Azerbaijan: “Journalists are the most active among the creative people. President Ilham Aliyev continues the care of Heydar Aliyev to journalists and creative people.”
