Baku City Deputy Prosecutor warns organizers of National Councilâ€™s rally scheduled for October 12

Hasanaliyev said that Baku City Mayor’s Office authorized the meeting of presidential candidate Jamil Hasanli with the voters on the results of elections at the stadium of Sports and Health Complex in Yasamal district on October 12 from 16:00 till 18:00 and said they were strictly recommended not to use insulting slogans promoting national, racial or religious hatred, as well as challenges for discrimination, hostility or violence by observing the requirements of law "On freedom of assembly”.

Hasanaliyev has warned organizers that the illegal actions, including violating the requirements of the law “On freedom of assembly” and public order, disobeying the legal requirements of the government representatives, interfering in the people’ tranquility, the activity of offices, facilities and organizations and violating traffic movement will be prevented within the law. He also noted that in case of such actions, they will face charges under the Criminal Code’s articles# 169 (violation of the rules on holding meetings), 220 (must disturbances) and 233 (organizing of actions lead to violation of public order).
