New Azerbaijan Initiative Group for Referendum submits registration documents to CEC

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. New Azerbaijan Initiative Group for Referendum submitted registration documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC) on Tuesday. Member of the Initiative Group Mubariz Gurbanli told APA the list of documents included protocols of the meetings held for establishing of the group, number of relevant electoral districts, notification about establishing of campaign groups from 500 to 2000, list of the groupâ€™s authorities, as well as financial managers. Gurbanli said after the preliminary registration at CEC, the group would receive signature leaflets and would return after collecting 40 thousand signatures.
The New Azerbaijan Initiative Group was established on December 31, 2008. Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov, deputies of the Executive Secretary Mubariz Gurbanli and Siyavush Novruzov were elected the groupâ€™s authorities.
