Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Central Election Commission (CEC) is preparing Work Schedule on referendum to be held on March 18, 2009. CEC Secretary Natig Mammadov told APA that the work on the Work Schedule was about to finish and it would be confirmed soon. Mammadov said CEC had already begun preparations, along with the Work Schedule, other normative documents were also being prepared.
The programs on promotion and enlightenment were being worked out.
“In general initial necessary steps have been taken,†he said.
Natig Mammadov said principally there was no serious difference between referendum and election. Therefore, voters’ lists would be specified before the referendum, too.
