Central Customs Hospital opens in Baku

Baku – APA. Central Customs Hospital has been opened in Baku. President’s press service told APA that head of state Ilham Aliyev also participated in the opening ceremony. Under the decree on adding the Central Customs Hospital to the structures of State Customs Committee issued by the President of Azerbaijan in 2004, the hospital is the most modern medical center constructed to examine the employees admitted to the customs bodies, provide medical service to the customs employees and improve medical provision. The president watched the photos depicting Heydar Aliyev’s meetings with medical servants. Following this, the President was informed about the hospital’s activity.
Equipment made in Germany and other European countries have been installed in the Central Customs Hospital. Special air conditioning system used in newly-constructed medical centers in the world has been applied in the Central Customs Hospital. The system filters the air three times. H12 ultrafilter was installed in surgery, labs, diagnostic center, intensive therapeutic departments. One of the innovations is installation of pneumatic conveying system. The system serves patients and ensures urgent lab analysis of patients within 10-15 seconds. Special program in the hospital gave chance to establish telebridge with leading medical centers of any country during operations. Five cars marked Mercedes, mobile hospital were purchased for the new medical center.
President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with separate departments of the hospital and got acquainted with medical and technical facilities in surgery .Aliyev congratulated medical workers and wished successes in their works. Aydin Aliyev, Chairman of State Customs Service expressed his gratitude to the President for construction of modern medical center and assessed it as example of big attention paid to officials of Customs bodies .
