Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. â€œWe showed real oppositionist position while Musavat Party making its suspicious decision on rerun parliamentary elections in 2006. This party sounds sour when brings the idea of â€œreal oppositionist position and real powerful opposition partyâ€ on agenda, chairman of Citizensâ€™ Development Party (CDP) Ali Aliyev told APA speaking about Musavat announcement of AXCP as a party with real oppositionist position and real forces and its intention of alliance only with Musavat. Aliyev said Musavat leadership had exact information about the position of CDP and Azerbaijan Liberal Party (ALP). â€œForce of parties is enough subjective and inexact issue. How Musavat can speak about the force when it gathered only 700-800 people in the meetings in 2006. It means that Musavat party lost its forceâ€. Aliyev said Musavat made these thoughts as a topic of disputes to prevent the real union.

Chairman of involved in â€œAzadligâ€ block ALP Executive Committee Elman Mammadzadeh blamed Musavat leadership in egoism. He said it needed to look at the elections ALP participated to know the partyâ€™s position and force. â€œThe party, which can cover all country during the election campaign, has a real force. We are only opposition party nominated 70 candidates in the last parliamentary elections, but Musavat named its candidates together with â€œAzadligâ€ block. I do not consider these accusations seriously. These thoughts donâ€™t contribute to the approach of parties and show their insincere position. After the parliamentary elections Lala Shovkat declined her mandate, but Musavatists joined the parliament. It shows once again we are in real oppositionist positionâ€.
