Siyavush Novruzov: â€œWe will offer our proposal on amendments to Constitution in one of the meetings of MMâ€

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayevâ€“APA. â€œWe will offer our proposal on amendments to Constitution in one of the meetings of MM. The issue was not debated in YAP, but we have made such decision,â€ MP Siyavush Novruzov, YAPâ€™s Deputy Executive Secretary said, APA reports.
MP said that both President and MM could initiate to hold referendum to amend the Constitution.
â€œThere cannot be any limit on choice of peopleâ€, he said. To him, it is difficult to say when the constitution will be amended.
Novruzov underlined that amendments to law on political parties are on the agenda as well. There is not any problem on financial assistance to political parties by the state budget.
â€œThe issue can be carried out basing on same principles with financial assistance to NGOs and mass media. The issue can be realized with support of additional budgetâ€, he said.
MP added that several parties presented projects on amendments to law on political parties and this issue would be debated during next weeks.
