APA marks its 4th anniversary

The Agency has first published news articles in Azerbaijani, Russian and English, and then added French and Arabic.

APA currently provides online news services in five languages, producing 400-450 news articles a day. APA has done many firsts since its inception.

Thus, the agency first made available video news in the South Caucasus and set up a sports agency - APA-Sport - for the first time in Azerbaijan.
Moreover, APA launched APA-Economics and APA-Photo. Services can be used through credit card on the APAâ€™s website.

APA operates bureaus in most big countries, as well as in neighboring states with the exception of Armenia.
APA is working closely with leading media outlets based in Turkey, the Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Central Asia, Europe, the Baltic States and the USA.

Prioritizing basic principles of promptness, accuracy and impartiality, APA issues general, economic, photo and video editions in five languages every day and economic and political analysis bulletins semimonthly.

The past 4 years have proved that this way is correct, and APAâ€™s leading role in the countryâ€™s information society is undeniable.

Azerbaijan-based diplomatic missions, international organizationsâ€™ and international financial institutionsâ€™ representative offices, government and financial structures, ministries, foreign companies, local and foreign businesses are among our subscribers.

More than 150 media outlets in abroad and Azerbaijan are our subscribers.

Note that the Azeri-Press Agency was registered by the Ministry of Justice on 8 January, 2004 and launched operation on 16 November.
