Ali Karimli: â€œWe do not hold discussions with KXCPâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“APA. â€œWe did not hold any discussions with KXCP after the joint statement of five organizations on the presidential elections. We did not agree with Mirmahmud bey to make some talks publicâ€, chairman of Azerbaijan Peopleâ€™s Front Party (AXCP) Ali Karimli told APA reacting to the accusations of the chairman of Classic Peopleâ€™s Front Party (KXCP) Mirmahmud Miralioglu. Miralioglu claimed that they held negotiations about the oppositionâ€™s new format and reached agreement between some parties not to make public if there is no result, but Ali Karimli breached this agreement. Karimli denied information about the discussions with Miralioglu over the past two months. â€œWe discussed with Mirmahmud bey the joint statement and KXCP refused to join the statementâ€.
Karimli said talks over the oppositionâ€™s new center were held within the Opposition Cooperation Center (OCC). â€œWe came together in the election campaign period to express reaction to the October 15 elections. Meanwhile we held discussions over the future cooperation, which are continuing now and we consider that we need in extension of cooperation. We donâ€™t discuss any concrete project. I hope exchange of opinions will lead us to certain results. We are in the phase of functional cooperation. I think we can pass to higher level of cooperation and most of OCC members consider that it can be reached only by the consensus. We will make concrete step after all of us will think soâ€.
