Azerbaijani President congratulates Azerbaijanis on Ramadan holiday

â€œRamadan, the month in which the Qur’an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, lightens heart and thinking of people, invites them to a peace, unity and moral purity. The Muslims have a chance to ask the God and religion for forgiveness for past sins, and feel happiness of victory of good deeds, mercy and self-restraint over passion.
Honest believers, who passed exams of fasting see off heir days during Ramadan month proudly and share their holiday gladly. Many prayers are read for our martyrs and welfare and peace of our people and state. I commemorate all martyrs, died during fighting for territorial integrity and independence of Azerbaijan and wish patience to their families. May their souls rest in peace!â€, said in the letter of congratulation.
The President stressed that fasting events held in Azerbaijan every year with great pleasure demonstrated devotion of our people for their national values and became celebration of friendly and fraternal relations, unity in the society and congratulated each of our compatriot on the occasion of Ramadan holiday and wished them happiness and abundance.
