Baku-APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Jewish community of the country on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah - a New Year. The Jewish people, settled in our country for centuries and feeling here like in homeland, never face with the anti-Semitism and discrimination in Azerbaijan, said in the congratulation, APA reports. They are living in our multinational society ruled by the friendship and brotherhood relations and ethnic-religious tolerance and protect their national-spiritual traditions. â€œI would like to note with pleasure that the Jewish community is closely participating in the public, political and scientific-cultural life of Azerbaijan Republic doing their citizen duties to strengthen state independence and delivering Azerbaijani realities to the world community. Rosh Hashanah, you solemnly celebrate every year, is the holiday of innovation, good news and spiritual purity. I wish all of you on this day happiness and joyfulness and good luck to your familiesâ€.
