Azerbaijanâ€™s President visits Saatli and Sabirabad regions â€“ <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

At first the head of state visited Heydar Aliyevâ€™s monument at the Park of Culture and Recreation named after the national leader in the center of town of Saatli, APA reports quoting AzerTAC News Agency. A beautiful fountain was built in the 5.6- ha park. Heydar Aliyev Museum, built in the style of national architecture, building of New Azerbaijan Partyâ€™s local office and art gallery located in the parkâ€™s area. The national flag was raised at the 15-meter height. There are large-screen monitor and children recreation and entertainment center in the park. Then President Aliyev attended the opening of Heydar Aliyev Museum in Saatli. Photos, books and various documents describing life and activity of the national leader are exhibited in the museum. Then President Ilham Aliyev met with the representatives of the local public community in front of the museum. The head of state visited the Park of Culture and Recreation named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva in Saatli Region located near the residential area settled by the martyrsâ€™ families and war veterans. The head of state visited Academician Zarifa Aliyevaâ€™s monument at the park. President Aliyev highly appreciated the work done here and said good conditions were created for the recreation of the residents.

Following this, Ilham Aliyev visited Sabirabad. The head of state first visited Alkapon enterprise of Gafgaz AKP LLC. Aluminum composite panels are produced in the plant built by the entrepreneur in Galagayin village of the region. The equipment of the plant has been brought from China. AZN 4.6 million has been spent on the construction of the plant. It has 52 employees. 120 will be employed in the plant when it is fully operational. The president observed the production process in various workshops and viewed ready products. The head of state also acquainted with elevator-making plant of Gafgaz MTZ LLC. The plant built in Galagayin village will produce 5000 passenger and load elevators (lifting capacity from 400kg to 5 tonnes) a year. 165 people have been employed in the plant. The number of the employees will reach 3200 in future. AZN 9 million has been invested in the construction of the plant.

President Ilham Aliyev visited monument erected to Heydar Aliyev in the center of Sabirabad and laid wreath before the monument. Heydar Aliyev museum was inaugurated in Sabirabad. The construction of the museum (487.8 sq m) began in 2007. The museum was built on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Photos and books on life and activity of the national leader are demonstrated in seven sections of the museum.

The president also participated in the opening ceremony of the Youth House in Sabirabad. There is a computer room, e-library, rooms for circles and for teaching lessons on patriotism in the Youth House. AZN 1.9 million has been spent on its construction. 30 people will be employed here.
The head of state ended his visit to Saatli and Sabirabad.
