Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Chairman of Political Innovation and Technologies Center Mubariz Ahmadoghlu has today held a press conference on the outcomes of the socio-political processes in international and regional arena in August, APA reports. Mubariz Ahmadoghlu said that Russia-US relations were the most urgent issue in the world, the processes turned into West-Russia tension.

The political scientist said Russia’s aggression against Georgia had brought western world together and added that Russia had trapped Georgia in South Ossetia. Assessing Turkey’s role in the region Mubariz Ahmadoghlu condemned President Abdullah Gul’s visit to Yerevan.
“In September, 1992, Iran solved Armenians’ food problem. Turkey’s acts resemble that period. Attitude towards Armenia in the context of Georgia-Russia conflict is against Azerbaijan”, he said.

The political scientist said the situation in Russia would become tenser after the murder of one of the opposition leaders of Ingushetia, journalist Mahammad Yevloyev. He said Ingushetian opposition had already made statements on the republic’s independence. Ahmadoghlu also noted that China’s influence had increased in Asia.

He underlined that there will be no stability in the Caucasus unless Nagorno Karabakh conflict is solved.
