Kamil Khasiyev: â€œThe aim of PARP is to ensure compliance of Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the military forces of NATO member statesâ€

Azerbaijan has undertaken over 50 partnership goals in the field of defense and security within the framework of the Planning and Review Program (PARP) signed between Azerbaijan and NATO, head of Azerbaijanâ€™s representation to NATO Kamil Khasiyev said, APA reports. He said that these goals included combating terrorism, border security, reforms in the Interior Troops, etc.
â€œThis is absolutely military-technical cooperation program. The aim of PARP is to ensure compliance of Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the military forces of NATO member states,â€ he said.
Khasiyev said the capacities of the State Border Service and Interior Troops extended, management of the personnel optimized within the framework of the first phase of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), draft military doctrine is ready. According to him, Azerbaijan fulfils the commitments undertaken within the framework of the programs and NATO leadership appreciates it.
