PACE President: â€œWe have to wait for the co-rapporteursâ€™ report on Azerbaijanâ€

Strasburg. Fuad Gulubeyli-APA. President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Luis Maria de Puig held a press-conference in Strasburg on Monday. He spoke about the issues scheduled to be discussed at the PACE summer session started today, APA European bureau reports. Touching upon the issue related to Azerbaijan, the PACE President said they had to wait for the co-rapporteursâ€™ report. Luis Maria de Puig said he would visit Azerbaijan, Armenia and Moldova following the session. Answering the question about Kosovo, de Puig said Council of Europe hadnâ€™t a strategy for integration of Kosovo into the organization yet. â€œThis is not time yet. On the other hand, Kosovo has not applied officially yet. It also needs to take into consideration the differences inside the Council of Europe regarding the Kosovo issueâ€. Luis Maria de Puig said it was early to speak about Kosovoâ€™s integration into the Council of Europe.
