Azerbaijan to offer $500,000 assistance to Organization of Islamic Conference

Azerbaijan will offer $500,000 assistance to the secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Conference for increasing the role of the organization and implementation of its new statute. APA reports that Spokesman for Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim said Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadigov said at the meeting of OIC Foreign Ministersâ€™ Council in Kampala, Uganda that Azerbaijan had made this decision. Khazar Ibrahim also said that several resolutions had been adopted at the meeting in Kampala, the resolutions condemned Armeniaâ€™s aggression against Azerbaijan and demanded the aggressors to leave the occupied territories. The document showed that Armeniaâ€™s aggression caused $60bn. damage to Azerbaijan and all OIC member states were called on to help Azerbaijan.
