Winter session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was held, APA reports. The session covered discussions on energy security in OSCE region. The member of Azerbaijani delegation Eldar Ibrahimov also made speech on this issue. OSCE High Commissioner for National Monitories Rolf Ekeus, Coordinator of OSCE for Economic and Environmental activities Bernard Snoy, OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Christian Strohal, OSCE Special Representative on Freedom of the Media Miklos Haraszti made reports.
Mr. Harszti touched the situation of media in Azerbaijan. He also talked about Azerbaijan’s commitment in this field.
In the frame of session the sittings of the committees on political and security issues, human rights, democracy and humanitarian issues, science, technology, environment and economy were held.
Joint meeting of three committees was held at the end of session.
250 members from 52 member states including Azerbaijan took part in two-day session of OSCE PA. /APA/
