OSCE Office cancels dialogue between ruling and opposition parties of Azerbaijan

Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. “The OSCE Office in Baku intended to organize dialogue between the political parties of Azerbaijan concerning the Law on Political Parties, but now there is no need to hold it because the law was passed at the Milli Mejlis committee. We watched the discussions at the committee and observed good changes and examples in the draft lawâ€, said Head of the OSCE Office in Baku Koray Targay, APA reports.
The OSCE Office in Baku has recently announced that it would hold a dialogue between the ruling and opposition parties and reached an agreement with the sides on this.
Targay said the draft law would be discussed at the parliament’s plenary meeting on April 20 and it would have positive impact on the development of democracy in Azerbaijan.
“The OSCE Office in Baku is always open to host the dialogue between the political parties and we are anytime ready for cooperation proposed by the sidesâ€, said Targay.
