Ali Ahmadov: â€œThose who committed the Khojaly tragedy were not brought to responsibility and majority of them are engaged in politicsâ€

Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œThose who committed the Khojaly tragedy were not brought to responsibility and majority of them are engaged in politicsâ€, MP, Deputy Chairman of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov told journalists. He said that our purpose is to achieve the right legal evaluation of Khojaly tragedy in the international world: â€œI think that all our citizens, especially the youth must work more recognition of this tragedy. We repeatedly complain on the double standards. We remain in our position today. The double standards are used in the activity of some international organizations. We clearly see it in the process of legal evaluation of Khojaly tragedy. It is naturally that we protest itâ€.

Ahmadov noted that the Azerbaijani government is working on the recognition of Khojaly tragedy and said that there were many things to do: â€œAs regards to bringing case of criminals before the international court, Azerbaijani governmentâ€™s position is that those who committed the tragedy must be brought to justice under the pressure of international organizations. Unfortunately it has not been achieved yetâ€.

As regards the law on Khojaly tragedy Ahmadov said that necessary works were done either in legislation or the other issues in the country.
