Parliament adopts draft law on annexes and amendments to law on aviation

The draft law reads that the list of limited and controlled narcotics, psychotropic drugs as well as the prohibited things for import, export, must be arranged on the boards at the places where the passengers move at the airport, sections of luggage and cargo examinations.

MP Siyavush Novruzov (YAP) condemned the paid entrance to the airport: “I don’t know why they take money for the entrance to the airport? May be I go to look from far?” Novruzov underlined the necessity of shuttle buses to the airport.

UAPFP Chairman, deputy Gudret Hasanguliyev agreed with Novruzov. According to him, Azerbaijan is the only country that has no shuttle buses to the airport. Hasanguliyev said that the Parliament must intervene to this issue and must settle this problem. He said that he was against of money demanding for entrance to the airport.

Deputy Fazil Mustafaev also supported the abovementioned.

Speaker of the Parliament Ogtay Asadov said that the issue on public transport to the airport must find its settlement: “it is not right to speak about corruption here. Only after specification of the issue, there can be any concrete idea”.

The draft law was put to the vote and adopted.
