TRT’s film “High Time To Hear” presented in Baku - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. On Tuesday, Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan presented the documentary “High Time To Hear” (“Duyun artiq”) produced by TRT’s Baku bureau on the occasion of 19th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy. According to APA, the film was directed by Naila Akbarova. The film’s photographer is Vugar Ibadov and assistant director – Aybeniz Rafiyeva.

TRT’s Baku bureau chief Yuksel Deyercan addressed the presentation ceremony. TRT says “High Time To Hear” about the tragedy committed at the night from February 25 to 26, said Deyercan. “It is duty of everyone to make the world aware of the Armenian barbarism. We say “Enough!” to indifferent attitude. The film we present here was shown on TRT. We intended to bring to light many points in this film and to share with the viewers”.

Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hukusi Kilic said the Turkic world and international community once again saw the Khojaly massacre in this film. The ambassador said it is high time to break silence. “We want peace and stability and we say enough to injustice and unfairness. Khojaly massacre is one of the most terrible tragedies in the world”.

MPs Guler Ahmadova, Malahat Ibrahimgizi and others also addressed the event.

30-minute film was shown after the speeches. Witnesses of the Khojaly tragedy, members of the parliament and historians spoke about this tragedy in the film. Pictures of the Khojaly events were also shown. Film director Naila Akbarova said they spent a week to produce this film.
