Event held on establishment of 100th anniversary of Musavat Party

Baku. Parvin Alizadeh - APA. Today, event devoted to 100th anniversary of establishment of Musavat Party has been held in Baku, APA reports. Delivering keynote speech at the event Musavat Party leader Isa Gambar reminded that 2011 had been declared as â€œMusavat Yearâ€: â€œIndeed, today is one of simple days. But we send a message to society by marking the anniversary. Each day maybe marked as a day of establishment of the party. Along with creation of sacred attributes such as flag, anthem, emblem, Musavat played great role in establishment of democratic idea. Our party was always ally with other parties and organizationsâ€.

Thereafter, item devoted to partyâ€™s establishment was presented at the event. Scientist Nasiman Yagublu, historian Jamil Hasanli spoke about the history of the party.
