The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service told APA that the decision passed on the initiative of Azerbaijan at the 7th session of the Committee in Paris covers obligations to make a report on the protection of cultural property and opportunity to send technical missions to the occupied territories.

The Secretariat of the Committee should prepare a detailed document on the implementation of the relevant provisions reflected in the Hague Convention on the protection of cultural property in the occupied territories and the second Protocol to the Convention in order to submit to the Committee next year.

Azerbaijan paved the way to the extensive discussion of the issue on the protection of cultural property in the occupied territories and the adoption of specific mechanisms due to the adoption of the document. Though Armenia and a number of pro-Armenian members protested, most of the members of the Committee welcomed the initiative of Azerbaijan.
