Baku. Ulkar Rashidgizi – APA. Nizami Ganjavi International Center will cooperate with well-known the Metropolitan Museum of Art. During his visit to the USA, the representative of Nizami Ganjavi International Center visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art in order to sign cooperation agreement, APA reports. The Metropolitan Museum of Art has already cooperated with Nizami Ganjavi International Center within the framework of Nizami Ganjavi’s 870th anniversary events. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the largest and most famous museums of not only US, but also of the world. A large number of Nizami Ganjavi's original manuscripts dating back to the 15-16th centuries are kept at the museum.
Under the agreement, Nizami Ganjavi's exhibition will be organized for the public and a number of important projects will be realized at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. During the visit special rare manuscripts of Nizami Ganjavi were presented to the guest.
