The high-quality digitalization of the manuscripts and carpets existing in Safavid section at the Metropolitan Museum of Art has already been finished within this project and it is planned to realize the weaving of these carpets by Azerbaijani carpet-makers in the same quality. The work is being done to digitalize and develop high-quality facsimile copy of the Divan by Shah Ismail Khatai. These manuscript copies will be demonstrated at various exhibitions in collections of Nizami Ganjavi International Center and Karabakh Foundation.
The Nizami Ganjavi International Center along with Karabakh Foundation is holding a series of exhibitions in the US on the occasion of Nizami Ganjavi’s 870th anniversary. These projects are being implemented with the support of Ganja Mayor’s Office, the State Committee on Work with Diasporas and the Library of Alexandria.
