As reported earlier, on 25-26 September, the 12th Conference of Culture Ministers in Islamic World is underway in Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar, APA reports.
A delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimov attends the event.
The Azerbaijani Minister addressed the 12th conference under the theme “Towards the Renewal of Cultural Action in the Islamic World”.
"The efforts of Director General of ICESCO Salim bin Mohammed Almalik in strengthening our bilateral relations are commendable. As part of international cooperation, the regional office of ICESCO will be opened in Baku this year, and this is a very important step in terms of the relations with ICESCO, as well as the presentation of the organization’s agenda in the region,” the minister said in his remarks.
