During the archeological excavations conducted at the Hasangala hill in the Hasangala village of Khachmaz district valuable historical material culture samples were found, researcher of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Doyush Musayev said, APA reports.
Doyush Musayev stressed that the size of the human skeleton that has been found belongs to a child. Its height is 1 meter and 20 centimeters. An interesting fact about the skeleton is that it does not have any toes. It is believed to belong to the 3rd millennium BC. Additionally, during the archaeological excavations, decorated pottery, a bone awl, and a battle stone axe from the 3rd millennium BC were also discovered in the area.
