Cultural Heritage Forum held for first time in Azerbaijan wraps up

Co-organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Heritage Forum, commenced in Azerbaijan for the first time, has wrapped up, APA reports.

The two-day Forum, held within the framework of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, brought together well-known historians, archaeologists, painters, architects, sculptors, artists and other experts of the field and media representatives.

The forum encompasses discussions on the preservation, development and promotion of culture and national heritage. Topics include the current situation, state support for tangible and intangible heritage, fine and applied arts, historical monuments, and various related areas.

Within the framework of the two-day Forum, 6 panel discussions were held in general.

During the discussions, a wide range of opinions were exchanged on the matters of cultural heritage protection, its historical and cultural importance, as well as taking heritage samples out of the country and their import, the activity in the direction of protection and restoration of cultural heritage in the territories liberated from occupation, and other such topics.

After the panel discussions, a separate question-and-answer session was organized for each of them.

Note that before this, forums on theater, cinema, Azerbaijani language and literature, music, as well as culture and creative fields were held for the first time in Azerbaijan.
