German director Edward Berger's Conclave has won the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) in the Best Film category, according to the broadcast of the 78th BAFTA ceremony, APA reports citing TASS.
The film won four of the twelve awards for which it was nominated: Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay and Editing.
Brady Corbet's The Brutalist also won four awards: Best Director, Actor (Adrien Brody), Cinematography and Original Score. Jacques Audiard's Emilia Perez was named Best Film Not in the English Language.
