New technologies used in research of Maiden Tower in Baku â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimovaâ€“APA. Maiden Tower, the mysterious historical-architectural monument in Baku, included in the List of World Heritage, is researched with the new technologies. Researchers aim to create digital 3D-view and digital data base of the tower with the assistance of laser scanner, press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told APA. The researching works are provided by the Institute of Art History, Research and Protection of Construction of the Vienna Technological University and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Icherisheher (Old City) State Historical-Architectural Reserve, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and AIKON CPIT Ltd.

Experts of the Vienna University are holding workshops for the students of the University of Architecture and Construction and local experts, teaching them to use the modern equipments. The researchers will present results of their work on March 19 at the University of Architecture and Construction.
