Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater is on tour in Georgia

Marneuli. Nizami Mammadzadeh â€“ APA. The staff of Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater performed in Marneuli Culture House on Sunday, APAâ€™s Georgia bureau reports. The performances of peopleâ€™s artists Arif Guliyev, Fatma Mahmudova, presidentâ€™s awardees Elchin Hamidov, Chingiz Ahmadov, honored artists Khanim Gafarova, Novruz Gartal, Namig Gasimov, Samad Khasiyev, laureate of international competitions Inara Babayeva were applauded by Azerbaijani audience. The audience took interest in violinist Salim Abbasovâ€™s play, Azeri and Georgian dances by Fuad Agayev and Sabina Babayeva. On Saturday, the staff of the theater presented an interesting program for the Azerbaijanis living in Rustavi. Head of the theater Aligismat Lalayev told APAâ€™s Georgia bureau that the tour had been organized by the order of Culture and Tourism Ministry.
â€œWe will perform in Rustaveli theater in the center of Tbilisi on March 16 and then for the Azerbaijanis living in Gardabani. Our compatriots have great interest in Azerbaijani music and theater. The audience applauded, nothing else can be a better for art figures,â€ he said.
