Holy Qur’an exhibition in Baku

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. Holy Qur’an exhibition was organized in Shirvanshahlar Palace, Baku on Monday by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Women Union of “Shams”. According to APA, nearly 200 ancient manuscripts and modern publications of Qur’an, as well as other Islamic values were exhibited in the Palace. The books of Qur’an saved during the Ashgabat quake, floods, fires, as well as the books mured in the walls of Shusha Fortress, houses of Barda and other regions, the books saved in the wells were among the exhibits. Official of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Rizvan Bayramov said there were books bound with deer’s and goat’s skins, gold-written copies and miniature Qur’an were exhibited there. He said Holy Qur’an is the book describing power, greatness and eternity of Allah.
