Gobustan Holy Places presentation in Gobustan

Gobustan. Kamala Guliyeva â€“APA. Gobustan Holy Places presentation was held on Saturday in Gobustan within the Baku â€“ Islamic Culture Capital 2009 events. Media representatives, foreign guests and students attended the presentation ceremony, APA reports.

The guests visited the place of Gara Atli (Black Horseman). Then photo-exhibition of Gobustan holy places and its video clip were shown at the event.

The ballet composition â€œDervish Reqsiâ€ (Santonâ€™s Dance) and concert of the ancient instrumental ensemble of the Azerbaijan National Museum of the Musical Culture were performed in the artistic part of the event. Then samples of the folklore decorative arts were exhibited and sold at the end of the ceremony. Norwayâ€™s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jon Ramberg also attended the event. He said he visited Gobustan for the tenth time.

Gobustan is one of the ancient cultural places in 10 km of Baku. There are holy places of Gara Atli (Black Horseman), Diri Baba, Shikheyib Baba, Sofi Novruz and others in Gobustan, which are visited throughout the centuries.
