Mixed dynamics have been recorded among major assets in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.
According to the CoinMarketCap platform, Bitcoin rose by 0.17% over the past 24 hours to $77,682.59.
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, fell by 0.50% to $2,499.18. Zcash rose by 2.56% to $1,141.18. BNB decreased by 0.18% to $720.97, while Monero declined by 2.15% to $513.61.
Other assets also mostly recorded declines. Bittensor fell by 1.93%, while Bitcoin Cash decreased by 0.76%.
The decline also continued among gold-backed cryptocurrencies. PAX Gold (PAXG) decreased by 0.67% over the past 24 hours to $4,305.35, while Tether Gold (XAUT) fell by 0.63% to $4,302.53.
The CoinMarketCap 20 index rose by 0.26% to 160.93 points. Bitcoin's market capitalization stands at $1.56 trillion.
According to experts, the direction of the cryptocurrency market is mainly shaped by expectations related to the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, global risk appetite, and geopolitical tensions. Investors taking a more cautious position following sharp fluctuations in recent days is causing prices to move within a limited range.
