She stated that it is currently snowing in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, with strong northwesterly winds and blizzard conditions.
A temperature of -3 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, which is 7.5 degrees below the long-term climate norm. According to long-term meteorological data, the climate norm for February is +4.5 degrees Celsius.
In some mountainous regions of Azerbaijan, the snow cover has reached a height of 1 meter.
