"Israel can contribute to COP29 on adaptation issues the most," said Adam Shalimtzek, Head of the International Relations Department of the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection, in a statement to APA.
"I express our gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for organizing and hosting this event. Both the logistical aspects, the operation, all the negotiations and the entire organization are very impressive. Now we are here, first and foremost, to engage in negotiations and discussions.
We have 20 companies from Israel here that are bringing innovative solutions to climate change in agriculture, energy and more. Our ministers and delegations are here to meet with their counterparts from around the world and discuss how we can work together to achieve global climate goals, and to help each other on adaptation and mitigation," said Adam Shalimtzek.
