"The transformation of the Middle Corridor into a regional green corridor fully aligns with the mandate of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)," said Olivier Oudin, AIIB's Director of Investments, during the panel discussion on "Pathways to Sustainable Connectivity: Efforts of CICA & its Member States, and Regional Organizations in Asia for Secure, Effective and Climate-Resilient Transportation Corridors" at COP29, APA reports.
He further stated, "We are ready to support the modernization of Azerbaijan to make the Middle Corridor a key and reliable transportation route for markets in Asia and Europe. To achieve this goal, we are ready to collaborate with our development partners, such as ADB, CARES, and the EU."
