“This COP event is not the end, but the beginning,” said Malini Mehra, the chief executive of “GLOBE International,” at the event titled "Building the Future: The Legacy of COP29 in Azerbaijan and Around the World, APA reports.
She stated that many issues were discussed at COP29.
“Azerbaijan demonstrated its competence with this event. The organization, which spanned 10 months, and the successful event itself are also the result of the efforts of the entire society. I also observed the work of the volunteers here. The first time I saw this was in Beijing, China. I consider involving young people in such global events very important. At the same time, in terms of accessibility, this COP stood out from the others. At the COP event held in the UK, there were certain issues related to accessibility. However, in Azerbaijan, the organization was at a high level. Overall, I believe the discussions went well,” Malini Mehra stated.
