Yerevan police have started laying barbed wire in front of the parliament building, APA reports citing Armenian telegram channels.

A while ago, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan stated at the rally held on Sunday that if the demands of protesters are not fulfilled, parliament members will not be allowed in the building.

Note that Galstanyan called on the members of Tavush for the Motherland movement to start four-day protests starting on June 10 to achieve the resignation of the Armenian government headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

On June 10th, he demanded that the parliament convene an extraordinary session on June 11th to discuss the Prime Minister's resignation. He also requested that parliamentary factions present and approve this proposal during the extraordinary session.

Armenian speaker Alen Simonyan announced that they will reject the opposition's proposal for snap elections.
