Yulia Tymoshenko called people to Maydan

Baku – APA. Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko called the people to gather in Kiev’s Independence Square (“Maydan Nezalejnostiâ€) on January 22. APA reports quoting “UNIAN†that Tymoshenko called the people who remain indifferent in Ukraine’s destiny to gather in the square and celebrate Unity Day (“Den Sobornostiâ€): “I want to appeal to the entire country. I want to remind everyone that we celebrate one of the most significant events and holidays on January 22 – (“Den Sobornostiâ€) the day Ukraine united. Therefore, on January 22 I want to gather all people of goodwill to celebrate Unity Day in the place where we always gather – the Maidan (Square)â€.
Note that, Ukrainian People’s Republic was proclaimed in 1918, but in the Ukrainian lands, included to Austro-Hungarian Empire, was established The West Ukrainian People’s Republic. The leaders of two countries signed an agreement to unite in December 1918. This agreement was proclaimed in Kiev’s Sofia square on January 22 1919.
Remind that Tymoshenko was summoned again for questioning at the Main Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office. Last time she witnessed for 1.5 hours on December 31 2010. She also was questioned for 12 hours on December 30 2010.
