Nazran - APA. Aleksandr Tikhomirov, (alias “Said Buryatskiy,â€) “the chief fighter ideologist in southern Russia†was killed in a spetz-operation on Tuesday in the settlement of Yekazhyevo, APA reports.
“Tikhomirov was among the 6 fighters killed on Tuesday in Nazran. During the course of the investigation his body was identified on Wednesday,†a police spokesman for the Southern Federal Okrug told reporters. Sources in Chechnya and Ingushetia have also confirmed his death.
