Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The total volume of transactions for the January-July of 2013 for all securities traded in Baku Stock Exchange was AZN 3.586 bln, down 49% from 2012.
According to BSE, CS market rose 2.4 times to AZN 601.899 mln. Corporate bonds primary market doubled to AZN 76.090 mln, secondary market surged 93.7% to AZN 288.221 mln. Primary share market rose 3.7 times, secondary market – 2.8%.
During the first seven months of this year, negative dynamics of BSE turnover was caused by government securities, especially repo operations on the notes and primary market of notes. Primary CB notes market slipped 3.4 times, secondary market – soared 3.5 times. At the same time, the repo operations on the notes fell 2.3 times to AZN 2.667 mln.
Primary GB market grew 1.3% to AZN 60.553 mln, secondary market – 76.2% times to AZN 12.949 mln. Generally, GS market slid 2.3 times to AZN 2.984 bln.
