The U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, David Satterfield has been summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Turkish MFA wrote on Twitter, APA reports.
The diplomat was summoned to the Foreign Ministry over the resolution passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on the so-called "Armenian genocide" and the "Peace spring" movement.
Recall that the House of Representatives passed a resolution recognizing the so-called Armenian genocide, with lawmakers voting 405-11.
