Türkiye extends its army presence in Lebanon for another year

The period of permission for the Turkish army to stay in Lebanon is extended for another year, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

The decision signed by the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan was submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

The document notes that Türkiye’s contribution serves to continue its policy in the direction of maintaining peace and stability in Lebanon with comprehensive civil-military cooperation activities in the UN system and also on regional and global scale.
